課程概述

本課程目的為培育物理治療師判讀神經、血管影像的能力,以及運用神經、血管影像於物理治療臨床決策與臨床研究的能力。課程內容以介紹腦與脊髓系統之神經、血管影像為主,含:影像成像原理之介紹,正常與異常之影像判讀,以及影像如何應用於主要神經疾患(如腦中風、巴金森氏症、失智症、腦瘤、頭部外傷、水腦、脊髓損傷與病變等)之診斷、預後、治療、及研究。課程之進行採用授課、課堂討論、文獻閱讀、與個案報告並行的方式。為達最佳之學習效果,請修習學生務必事先預習每次上課的參考文獻或資料。本課程之設計涵蓋培養學生之專業與教學能力、跨領域團隊合作與領導、及創新與研究等核心能力。 

課程目標
修習學生在結束本課程時,應能:
1. 瞭解電腦斷層、磁振造影、磁振血管攝影、正子攝影、與神經超音波等之影像原理;
2. 學習判讀腦與脊髓系統的神經與血管影像;
3. 瞭解神經、血管影像判讀結果與臨床表徵間的關係;
4. 學習應用神經、血管影像資訊於神經物理治療主要臨床疾病類別之功能性診斷、預後、與治療臨床決策。 
課程要求
期中口頭與書面報告:
以FLAIR MRI, atlas, and brain slices 找出與executive functions, sensorimotor function, visual processing and perception, emotion, and memory function 相關之腦區。

期末口頭與書面報告:
以一種神經疾患之一位個案作個案研究(case study),完整報告個案之神經、血管 影像、診斷、臨床症狀與問題、預後、醫學處理(medical management)過程、物理治療介入(physical therapy intervention)過程、與介入後之結果(outcomes)。
